A premium karate suit developed by Tokaido especially for general kihon and kata training. The Tokaido Kata Master Japan gi has the Ultimate-Sound technology that provides impressive acoustic support for dynamic body movements. Can be worn in training as well as competitions. In contrast to the Tokaido Kata Master Athletic, it has no brand logos on the chest and neck. We also don’t recommend shoulder embroidery on these as we recommend them as pure traditional karate gis. This Tokaido Kata gi is a favourite karate gi with traditional clubs/associations.

Excellent karate gi. I’m 183cm and 89kg, I got the 185 and the fit is great even after washing, only minimal shrinkage experienced after I washed it at 20 degrees. It’s one of the few gi’s I’ve found that has enough room for my upper legs and my shoulders. Good quality material and stitching. Very happy.

Perfect fit GI with high quality materials. I like the Japanese cut it fit nicely just make sure you select the right size and my advice is go by the cm size showing on the chart don’t bother with the #. if you are in doubt just ask Ali on WhatsApp he is very helpful. This is my second Kata Master from Ali – a fantastic gi with great snap and super comfy. Used Tokaido back in the 80s when I studied Wado Ryu – after a 35 year gap I’ve returned to karate, although now Shotokan, and Tokaido is as good as I remember. Ali is so helpful – I can’t recommend JCK enough. Great company to deal with.

Fantastic gi, i am 5 foot 5 and was unsure whether to go for the 165 or 160 after asking i was recommended the 160 and it is a perfect fit! Had to wait a few days as it was on back order but was well worth the wait. The gi is much louder than my previous one and it is lighter too. It feels so nice to wear. This is a very high quality gi, will be used for many years to come as i go through the higher grades in karate. I would happily purchase another, the customer service was excellent sent me lots of pictures of different sizes and measurements which made me feel more confident in picking the right size. Fantastic! Firstly the Gi is amazing. Soft, 100% cotton which was a must for me, a beautiful snap with every movement. Fits brilliantly! I am quite short so due to the Japanese cut, for the first time, I don’t need to get the Gi altered. I couldn’t believe how quickly the Gi was delivered, it had come next day! I must mention the amazing customer service as well. I was unsure of size and had other question so contacted the WhatsApp not expecting a reply since other companies have this option by generally do not respond. I got a reply instantly, the person that helped me was brilliant, informative and kind, it was such a chill conversation which is usually very rare now!
